Learn the most important concepts you will be using within Parrot CRM to improve your work experience.


1. Type of sales

A sales type in Parrot CRM refers to the set and information you need to know about a customer based on the product or service you are offering. E.g. If you are a travel agency you will need to know the following:

  • Destination
  • Number of nights staying in accomodation
  • Number of people traveling
  • If the reservation includes food or not

We call this set of data a sales type and you as a user will be able to create and model your sales types according to your needs to improve your profiling and sales funnel. Learn how to create your sales types from our guide: Account Setup.


2. Sales opportunity

A sales opportunity is equivalent to opening a file for recording and storing information related to a sale, e.g., in a travel agency the sales opportunity would be all the information you request from the customer to find the best vacation proposal for him.

In addition, all this information is stored in your customer file and you can consult it whenever you need it.
